MAI’s latest restaurant project provides a new image for an existing fast casual restaurant serving the office building at 1 Bala Plaza. Working with the restaurant owner, MAI created a clean, sleek interior furnished with warm, inviting materials and modern graphics. Rustic wood tones are used to highlight the restaurant’s Italian influences, juxtaposed against striking black cabinetry. 

A cozy soft seating space is created at the center of the restaurant, highlighted by a bold red, wrapping overhang. The new cashier and serving areas are organized for better product visuals, increased efficiency and improved patron flow. The kitchen was given upgrades as well to support the new menu and catering business.
